Another shot from the other night…

I took these shots when Stuart and I went down the the sea front this evening.

On Saturday afternoon the sunlight was streaming into our living room through the patio doors. So, the sunflower came out of the vase and into a milk bottle strategically placed so that the flower head was in direct sunlight. The rest of the room was in comparative darkness, and so I managed to get the effect below.

I took this picture of Brough Castle a month or so ago and quite liked it. In the process of tweaking it for a mono conversion I managed to produce this shot. I quite like the little bit of colour in the sky.

Just caught the last of the sunset a couple of nights ago. I took some pics of the pier first, and then, once the sun had gone down went to the Marine Way Bridge. These are the best of the bunch. Larger photos are in the Southport gallery.
