A Haven in Birkdale Dunes

Park up at the car park by Royal Birkdale Golf Club, go through the gate and down the path. Fight your way through the overgrown bushes, Royal Birkdale on one side and Hillside Golf Club on the other. As you walk you notice that the dogs being walked back to the car park are rather wet. Eventually you come to a clearing in the bushes with a pond. This is where the dogs get wet, this is where their owners stop to contemplate life for a few moments before turning back to the realities of the day. This is one small haven in Birkdale Sand Dunes.
