What a trip! A whirlwind tour of Boston and Cape Cod, including a day trip to Martha’s Vineyard. And, of course, when we got there, there were Harley’s to hire. I couldn’t resist. So I took a Fat Boy out for a spin round the island. So cool – beautiful blue sea, scorching hot weather and a great bike.

Well, having spent our first day in Atlanta, I’m tired, but glad to have got here at last. We had a mammoth trip. Flew to Chicago from Manchester and were actually on the runway to fly to Atlanta when the flight was cancelled. Six hours later we arrived at our final destination.

Atlanta seems to me to be a typical big American city. It’s busy, colourful and everything is bigger than in the UK.

There were a few blog entries here from last week that have gone somewhat astray. Let’s just say that it was an expermiment in replication that didn’t quite go as planned.

It’s not the end of the world, and I’m not particularly concerned to put them back, so for now I’ll just let it be…
