More site changes! Some new photos to brighten the outlook and a string of photos down the right hand side of the main page. Still not 100% happy with the look of wideplace,, but it’s getting there.

Made my first Flash movie yesterday. Nothing more than a means to display some photos, but it’s a start. The movie can be found at Peter Holloway’s Personal Pages where I have my ASP driven photo page. The movie is very basic and has very little graphic flair about it, but I’m sure some of that will come as time goes on…
You may notice that the pictures on the right hand side of this page are exactly the same as those in the Flash movie. I’m all for recyling!
More major changes to site design! Smallest change is making the ‘1’ of sophos1 pale blue instead of white. Both datawisecomputing.com and wideplace.com now have logos made from Trebuchet and two similar tones of blue. Makes the sites less brash methinks.
Just upgraded to Macromedia Studio MX 2004. A few changes in how Dreamweaver applies styles. All done as styles and not separate font tags etc.
Just begun to look at Freehand and Flash – bit of a learning curve to climb here, but should be fun, so long as I don’t get too keen on putting flash on every site.
Fun day today! Just installing SQL Server 2000 on our new server. All we have to do then is migrate the database from Access, recode the VB front end, move all the queries to SQL views and redo all the links to other Access databases within the company…
